I only use png for images, since other file types seem to loose quality when uploaded. PNG keeps my pics crisp, but Myspace lightenes them. Sometimes the contrast is messed up too.

Why do my png photos lighten when I upload them to Myspace?
I've actually been having problems uploading png images at all in the last couple of weeks. I agree that this format offers more crisp tones.
Also, I have been having problems with the jpg uploads as they have coming out very muddy lately. To fix this, I made sure my images were 16-bit color and not 8-bit.
